Who is COCHAE?

A creative trio—Yosuke Jikuhara, Miki Takeda, and Saya Kanno—Cochae has been exploring the idea of “playful design” since 2020.
Their roots go back to 2003, when they began crafting graphic origami with the hope of making paper folding feel a little more pop, a little more fun.
Today, their work extends far beyond origami. Cochae develops toys and lifestyle goods with fresh, thoughtful perspectives, while also engaging in product planning, exhibitions, and hands-on workshops.
In recent years, they’ve also created a variety of package designs, including the beloved Okayama specialty Kibidango from Yamagata Eijudo.
A design unit that turns simple moments into small delights—true to their playful spirit.
